Lynne Richardson

Lynne trained in public relations and practiced for five years in South Africa. In 1985 she began to pursue her interests in documentary production and cinematography. During the first three years she gained experience in all areas of production and later began training as a camerawoman. She has traveled and filmed wildlife and people in remote places in more than twenty countries. During this period she also gained experience 'in-front' of the camera co-presenting a cultural study. Filming experience includes 35 mm, 16 mm, HD, night filming, long lens, aerials, time lapse, macro and studio work. She is a member of theInternational Association of Wildlife Filmmakers. In 1994, she and her husband, Philip joined forces to form Africa Wildlife Films. They have since then, separately and together, produced, directed and filmed natural history specials and sequences for a variety of documentaries, commercials and features.
